2009!!!
The countdown was super nice! After the little nyonya show, we went to Jolene and Gennie's father medicine shop. Reached there at arnd 10.20. At arnd 10.45, Gennie and her father went to buy mac drinks and ice cream. by the time they got it back it was alrd melted but still nice! :D We then walked to marina there. Near to the esplanade. Its was super crowded and we like practically have to squeeze ourselves. But when we reached there, there's a perfect spot for us and there is like no one! Yay! =D We put the dog on top of the barrier thing and cos he's scared of falling, i used my body to support it. Lol.. we waited for about 45 mins before the countdown actually started. Kaiting was the 1st to wish me HNY :D When it was finally 10 sec, everyone shouted and blowed whistles. Haha and when the fireworks started, the dog was like freaking scared and clamoured on me. LOL. So i actually carried it! :D Jolene was feeling better alrd so she went but halfway she felt sick again. D: She helped the dog to cover its ears whe the fireworks started and i helped carry it. Hehe.. When it ended alot of ppl were still blowing whistles. Hah! We waited for most of the ppl to go 1st before making our way back to the car. I carried the dog almost all the way. Almost la! Haha. Cheryl Tan was at the countdown too! She was at the marina bridge or smth. I didnt see her. Lol.. I wonder who else went. Hahas. After the countdown they wanted to go to balestier to eat bak kut teh. :DDD So nice! So we went there to eat and Jolene wasnt feeling well so she rested in the car D: The food was super delicious and we saw xin hua duo duo kai the 'old peter'! HAHA... He sat outside to eat and when we finished, my fren's mum walked over and said " old peter! Today small peter never come ah!" in chi luhs. He was like smiling and said no and looked at all of us. HAHAH. She so funny :D So after that it was alrd 2 plus and we went home. Showered as i smelled of dog. LOL. Hmm and thats all! =D Pictures next post!
